Intolerance Ch. 7

                                      Chapter Seven: Those Crimson Eyes


                                                ----That Night----

Orochimaru was doing some experimenting on some prisoners he had captured. Of course, Sasuke was used to the wails, and screams of agony coming from down the halls, so he was soundly asleep.

However, Kerushii was in her bed, shaking. Her eyes were full of fear. No matter how hard she tried, the voices seemed to get louder….and louder…and even louder to the point where she even felt like screaming. Quickly, out of fear, she jumped out of bed, and scurried over to her door, opening her door, closing it. She looked up to the Uchiha’s door, gulping a bit, she knocked.

Knock, knock, knock...

No answer.

She knocked again, praying he’d come to the door.

Knock, knock, knock…

The Uchiha’s eyes fluttered open, crimson red eyes blazing. He heard  knocking, and groaned. Jeesh, why couldn’t people let him get some sleep? He looked to the door, and got up, grummblng, he opened it, to see Kerushii looking fearfully down the hall. “…what the hell do you want?”

“I-I-I heard scream-screaming…”

“Suck it up. Orochimaru’s just experimenting down the hall.”

Kerushii chewed on her lower lip. “B-But…”

“Go to bed.”

“U-Uchiha-sama, I can’t sleep…”

“Then go away, and leave me alone. I want to sleep.”

“But, s-sir.”

“Go.” He growled, glaring at her with the crimson eyes.

Kerushii looked away, and headed back into her room. “G-Gomen nasai…” she muttered, and closed her door.

Sasuke shook his head, and went back into his room, crawling back into bed. Man, how he hated this job more than ever. Well, at least it beat having his ass beat. He shut his eyes and fell back asleep slowly, as the screams echoed down the halls.
